Located just 20 miles northeast of downtown Louisville, the Oldham County School District is home to over 12,000 students. The district employs over 1,600 people, and runs nine Elementary Schools, four Middle Schools, and three High Schools - along with an Alternative High School and Education Center. The Oldham County School District is one of the most desirable districts in the area. It has consistently been named a “Distinguished District”, meaning it falls between the 90th and 99th percentile among all Kentucky districts.
