St. James Art Fair is just around the corner!
Mark your calendars for the 57th annual St. James Court Art Show. October 4th through October 6th, the St. James-Belgravia Historic District will be host to 750 artists, and over 300,000 visitors. The St. James Court Art Show is an impressive gathering of arts and crafts from over 750 artists. This event is nestled in the heart of Old Louisville, with one of the country’s largest concentrations of Victorian homes serving as the perfect backdrop for this annual fall event. On more than one occasion, a survey of artists by the trade journal Sunshine Artist has voted this event as the best art show in the nation.
At the show you will find, photography, paintings, fiber, clay, glass, jewelry, crafts, face painting, food, and much more. While you’re there, the historic Conrad Caldwell House, which is at the center of the art show, is open for visitors. Tours will be offered at the reduced price of $5, and they will be hosting “Conrad’s Café” which offers food and cocktails served on the front yard, as well as in the large air-conditioned hall. You can also relax in Central Park, which is a 17 acre park that is part of Louisville’s famous Olmstead Park System. Frederick Olmstead designed New York City’s famous Central Park, as well as a numerous parks across the United States.
St. James Court Art Festival Hours are Friday & Saturday from 10:00 am – 6:00pm, Sunday from 10:00am - 5:00pm. Admission is free, no pets allowed.
